  1. Cook the Bacon:

    In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until it becomes crispy. Remove the bacon from the pan and drain it on paper towels. Set aside.

  2. Sauté the Mushrooms:

    In the same skillet, add 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add the sliced mushrooms. Cook the mushrooms until they become golden brown and all the moisture has evaporated, about 5-7 minutes.

  3. Add Garlic:

    Add the minced garlic to the mushrooms and sauté for another 1-2 minutes until the garlic becomes fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.

  4. Combine with Bacon:

    Add the cooked bacon back into the skillet with the mushrooms and garlic. Stir well to combine all the flavors. Cook for an additional minute or two, allowing the bacon to absorb the garlic and mushroom flavors. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  5. Garnish and Serve:

    Remove the skillet from heat. Garnish the garlic mushrooms and bacon with chopped fresh parsley, if desired, for a burst of color and added flavor. Serve hot as a side dish or as a topping for grilled steak, pasta, or rice.
